Outline of our services
Windows 2000, XP, and Vista computers. All services are on site per the request of the client in the Rutland, VT area. Any client in need of services outside of Rutland will be billed for travel time and mileage. Windows installations must have a genuine license and an active Internet connection.
General PC Tune Up
- Receive an analysis of what is on your machine
- Receive a full backup of all the data on your c drive limit 2 x 4.8GB DVD
- Eliminate unused and unnecessary files to free up space and improve performance
- Hard Drive care and maintenance
Full PC Tune Up
- With the full pc tune up you receive everything from the general pc tune up
- We will give your pc a thorough dust cleaning for every component that attracts dust and generates heat. Heat is a pc killer. This alone can improve performance and increase the pc's life span a great deal.
- Every component will be checked to assure it is properly seated like your hard drives and cd/dvd drives. These can cause vibrations making the motors work harder and generate more heat and sounding very bad.
- Removal of unwanted programs that get installed by other software.
- A full security analysis of your computers publicly exposed ports and file shares.
Full PC Cleansing
- Backup of all infected data for further cleansing and recovery if necessary (Additional fees may apply)
- Complete spy ware, malware, ad ware, virus scan and removal.
- Intensive data restoration and cleansing were required is optional. This can include moving the infected drives into a clean machine for recovery and cleansing. (This is not always successful due to the nature of some viruses) We have a high success rate for restoring a minimum of personal data such as pictures, music, video and most documents. Executables and archives can however be damaged beyond repair and there is not much you can do about that after the fact. Keeping your pc health software up to date is our only advise. And we will help you to get the right one and make sure it is kept up to date in our full pc tune up
